Patients who have been advised to do home quarantion were seen walking outside. They are infecting others with corona. Therefore, if such patients do not follow the rules, they will have to be admitted to a private hospital and they will have to bear the cost, warned Public Health Minister Rajesh Tope.

Given the growing number of corona patients in the state, increase the number of beds in government health institutions, also make it mandatory for private hospital covid centers, while emphasizing the need to build a system to produce oxygen from the atmosphere, emphasis should be placed on institutional quarantine rather than home quarantine of positive patients. He also directed the state health department to increase the number of RTPCR tests in the districts.

From the Health Services Commissionerate, the Health Minister interacted with the State Health Directors, Joint Directors, Divisional Deputy Directors, District Surgeons, District Health Officers, Taluka Health Officers through a televised system.

At this time, the principal secretary of the health department, Dr. Pradeep Vyas, Commissioner Dr. Ramaswamy, Director Dr. Archana Patil, Dr. Sadhana Tayde, etc. were present. Health Minister Tope said that while managing oxygen, it should not be wasted and overused.

The technology that absorbs oxygen from the atmosphere and gives it to patients is currently being used, and efforts should be made to install such devices in every district. A meeting was held with Food and Drug Administration Minister Dr Rajendra Shingane in this regard. Principal Secretary Dr Vyas directed the state action force to abide by the protocol prepared for the treatment of Corona patients.
