An earthquake of 4.5 magnitude hit Maharashtra's Hingoli region on Wednesday, July 10, the National Centre for Seismology said. The quake was reported at 07:14:53 IST today. There was no report of any casualty or damage to property due to the earthquake, the National Centre for Seismology further informed.

Earthquake in Maharashtra

Three districts of Marathwada and one district of Vidarbha have been hit by tremors. According to the preliminary information, these earthquake shocks were felt in three districts, namely Parbhani, Hingoli and Nanded in Marathwada district and in one district of Vidarbha's Washim.

No casualties or injuries were reported. However, due to the sudden ground shaking, people came out of their houses in many places.
