In another allegation against the Maharashtra's Uddhav Thackeray government, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Kirit Somaiya has alleged ‘land fixing’ by the state government.
Somaiya alleged that a land scam worth Rs 12000 crores had happened in the process of acquiring land for a proposed 5,000-bed hospital in Mulund. He added that Municipal Corporation Commissioner passed proposals of land buying worth Rs 7000 crores and Rs 3000 crores to a private builder.
On Friday the BJP leader filed a complaint against Health Minister Rajesh Tope, Munbai Municipal Commissioner & CM Uddhav Thackeray. He tweeted,"Governor Maharashtra Koshyari ji assured Me to consider & send Our Petition to Lokayukta. 5000 Bed Hospital of ₹12000 crore, Land Aquisition Scam. Our Complaint against Health Minister Rajesh Tope, Munbai Municipal Commissioner & CMO @BJP4Maharashtra @Dev_Fadnavis @BJP4India"
