Mumbai, Maharashtra (October 22, 2024): The Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) released its list of 45 candidates for the upcoming Maharashtra Assembly elections on Tuesday. Notably, MNS chief Raj Thackeray's son, Amit Thackeray has also been included in the list.

Amit Thackeray will contest from the Mahim Assembly constituency, while Sandeep Deshpande has been announced as the candidate for Worli. This sets the stage for a close contest in Worli between Aditya Thackeray from the Shiv Sena (UBT) and Sandeep Deshpande from the MNS.

The Maharashtra Assembly polls will be held in a single phase on November 20, with votes to be counted on November 23.
