The number of corona patients in the state is declining rapidly, with positive rates and declining number of patients has provided some relief. The state government has conducted a district-wise review of Corona and given concessions in districts with a positivity rate of less than 10 per cent. Accordingly, from June 1, malls in 21 districts will be open and shops for essential services will remain open till 2 pm. Hotels and restaurants will also be open for door-to-door service.

As of May 29, 2021, the weekend positivity rate and availability of oxygen beds have been taken into account. As Akola and Chandrapur districts are in the red zone, restrictions will not be relaxed.

In Nashik will function salons, bullion shops, milk sales, government offices, vegetable sales, ration shops, banks, post offices and stamp offices with restrictions.

Concessions in 10 districts of Vidarbha

Essential service shops will be open from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Essentials shops open Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., and completely closed on weekends.

Marathwada also got relief

Permission has been granted till 2 pm in Jalna district. In Hingoli, the market is allowed to continue from 7 am to 2 pm on all days except Saturdays and Sundays.

All shops in Pune, including essentials, are allowed to continue till 2 pm. Leaving the mall, the necessary service shops will be open till 2 pm. 

In Akola and Chandrapur district continue to be in red zones.
