In a tragic incident a body of a 19-year-old youth was found in the swimming pool of Hotel Ajanta Ambassador on Jalna Road, creating a stir. The incident came to light at 9:30 pm on Thursday. The deceased boy has been identified as Nagesh Rameshwar Shelke. Nagesh, who hails from Jafrabad in Jalna district, was studying in college. On Thursday, he had attended a relative's wedding at Hotel Ajanta Ambassador with his family. 

Around 8 pm, he suddenly went down to the hotel's swimming pool to swim. Since it was nighttime, no one was paying attention to the pool. However, Nagesh was found unconscious in the water between 8:30 pm and 9 pm. He was immediately taken to a nearby private hospital. However, doctors examined him and declared him dead at 9 pm.

An accidental death case was registered in this case at CIDCO police station. Meanwhile, the cause of the youth's death is still unclear, and the exact cause will be revealed after the autopsy report, said CIDCO police.
