MNS has started preparations for the forthcoming municipal elections. Against this backdrop, information has come to light that MNS chief Raj Thackeray will visit Nashik on March 4.

However, during this tour, Raj Thackeray will only meet a few of his party members.

It is being said that Raj Thackeray is going to attend wedding of BJP's Rajya Sabha MP Chhatrapati Udayanraje Bhosale's relative in Nashik. Recently leader from various parties have been visiting Maharashtra Navnirman Sena's office.

A few days ago some teachers joined Maharashtra Navnirman Sena under the leadership of Ashok Murtadak, former mayor of MNS in Nashik. The indcution was held at Krishnakunj residence in the presence of Raj Thackeray.

Following the mayoral election, the MNS has decided to support the BJP in the standing committee elections as well. It is being speculated that the BJP and MNS will contest the upcoming Nashik Municipal Corporation elections together.

Salim Sheikh, the only member of MNS, has joined the BJP. The BJP now has eight members in the standing committee, including five from the Shiv Sena and one each from the Congress, NCP and MNS.

But since MNS has sided with BJP in the mayoral election, it is believed that MNS's Salim Sheikh will go with BJP, so MNS is considered the kingmaker.
