Rohit Pawar: Resume Mumbai local train services for general public

While things have gone back to normalcy in the unlock phase in Maharashtra, Mumbai's local has not been started for everyone yet. So the general public is facing issues while travelling. Against this backdrop, NCP MLA Rohit Pawar has demanded to start Mumbai local train services for all.

Rohit Pawar met Transport Minister Anil Parab in Mumbai today. During the meeting, Rohit Pawar handed over a letter to the Transport Minister asking Anil Parab to follow up with the Centre for starting a local train services for all. The NCP leader also tweeted about his meeting with Anil Parab.

"Lack of local train services has increased the trouble for people as they have to use other alternatives to travel which is time consuming and costly. While visiting APMC in Mumbai, Mathadi workers also expressed their trouble grief. Therefore, I have requested Transport Minister Anil Parab to talk with CM Thackeray and discuss with the Central government regarding resumption of local train services for all, "tweeted Rohit Pawar.
