Ashwini Santosh Deshmukh, wife of slain Massajog sarpanch Santosh Deshmukh, has been offered a job as a junior clerk at Chhatrapati Shivaji Vidyalaya in Adas. The offer was made by Ramesh Adaskar. Santosh Deshmukh’s mother and his brother, Dhananjay Deshmukh, were present when Ashwini Deshmukh received the letter. The Deshmukh family has yet to decide whether to accept it.

Following Santosh Deshmukh’s murder, there were continuous demands for his wife to be given a government job. Now, she has been offered a position at the school in Adas. Adaskar and his associates visited the Deshmukh residence to personally hand over the appointment letter.

Santosh Deshmukh was abducted and murdered on December 9, 2024, for allegedly trying to stop an extortion bid targeting an energy firm in Beed district. The police have so far arrested seven persons in connection with the sarpanch's murder, while accused Krushna Andhale is still at large.
