The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has postponed the Sub-Engineer (Civil) recruitment exam by a fortnight. Originally scheduled for March 9, 2025, the exam aims to fill 690 vacancies in the engineering cadre through direct recruitment.

The civic body had earlier announced the online examination schedule for various engineering positions, including the Secondary Engineer (Civil) exam set for March 9, 2025. However, this has now been postponed until further notice.

According to the civic administration, the exam is expected to be conducted within approximately 15 days. “Once the revised date is finalized, it will be published on the official BMC website and in newspapers. All concerned candidates are advised to take note of this update,” said a senior BMC official.
