Mumbai: The newly inaugurated Nature Trail Walkway at Malabar Hill has witnessed an overwhelming response, attracting over 3,400 citizens and tourists within just two days. Since its grand opening on March 30, 2025, the eco-friendly trail has become a major attraction for nature lovers.

On March 30, 1,053 visitors explored the scenic walkway, generating a revenue of Rs 26,925 through ticket bookings. The following day (March 31), the number soared to 2,346, bringing in Rs 60,300. With high demand, the online ticket booking for the day was completely sold out, and reservations for the coming week are filling up fast.

In response to the surge in visitors, BMC Commissioner Bhushan Gagrani has directed officials to ensure efficient crowd management, enhanced security, and regular cleanliness at the site. He emphasized that the Nature Trail Walkway is set to become a model eco-tourism project for Mumbai, and its preservation must be a priority.

Developed without harming the natural environment, the pathway offers a serene experience through lush greenery. It is open daily from 5 AM to 9 PM, with limited slots available to prevent overcrowding.
