A wet-lease-operated Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport (BEST) bus met with an accident. A two-wheeler collided with the bus in the Borivali area of Mumbai, reported Mid Day. No one was injured in this accident.

According to the report, the officials said the accident occurred around 11:15 AM near Daulat Nagar. The bus driver hit the brake on time when a two-wheeler unexpectedly came in front of the bus. The accident was reported on route number 702/34 between Magathane depot and Ghodbunder village.

As the driver hit sudden brakes to stall the vehicle before any mishap could happen, the scooty that was following the bus collided with the left side of the bus. The scooty was severely damaged in this accident.

Following the collision the scooty rider stopped and lashed at the driver. As the bus driver saw him coming towards him he immediately dialled 100 and called the police.

Police took the bus driver and scooty rider to Kasturba Police Station for further inquiry and the bus remained stationed at the site of the accident. Later both were released without any formal case being filed at the police station.
