A complete lockdown has been declared in Nagpur from March 15 to March 21 against the backdrop of increasing number of coronavirus cases. Guardian Minister Nitin Raut made the announcement on Thursday. The number of patients are higher in rural areas including Nagpur city.

Citizens did not take the restrictions seriously. The administration had to take tough decisions as the citizens were not scared despite repeated requests.
