A man was allegedly thrashed in Kolhapur, Maharashtra  for allegedly  sneezing in public. The news comes after Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray appealed to the public to maintain calm in his recent press conference. A video of the incident has been going viral on social media. 

Coronavirus has infected more than 2,00,000 people and killed more than 8000 across the world. Of these, China has over 80,800 positive cases while Italy's tally stands over 27, 900. Total cases in India have risen to 174, as per the Union health ministry with 3 people dead. A total of 49 patients have been tested positive in Maharashtra.
