Many celebrities from the film world including Hansal Mehta, Soni Razdan, Manoj Bajpayee, Kangana Ranaut and many others mourned the death of veteran actor Satish Kaushik on Thursday, describing him as a "kind human being" and a "gentleman soul". His close friend and actor Anupam Kher told PTI-Bhasha, "He was at a friend's house in Delhi. After suddenly feeling restless, Kaushik asked the driver to take him to the hospital.
Kher had earlier shared the news of Kaushik's death on Twitter. He tweeted, "I know that death is the ultimate truth, but I didn't think that I was in my life."

Actor Abhishek Bachchan tweeted, “A very humble, kind and loving person. Always happy and smiling. A big loss to our film industry. God bless your soul, Satish uncle. Hum sab aap yaad karenge.''
