Our eyes glaze over when looking at the sun or another bright object. But then when we immediately look at the green color, our eyes feel relaxed, cool.
The main reason for this is that green and blue are the opposite of red on the visible light spectrum, and during an operation a surgeon almost always focuses, or must, on red.
Not only this, from a scientific point of view, our eyes are biologically designed in such a way that they are basically able to see red, green and blue colors. Millions of colors formed from the mixture of these three colors can be recognized by the human eye.
It is believed that green or blue colors are not very piercing to the eyes. As much red and yellow as stings the eyes. Therefore, green and blue colors are considered good for the eyes.
For this reason, everything from the hospital curtains to the staff's clothes are green and blue. So that the eyes of the patients in the hospital are relieved, they do not suffer any pain.
