District Magistrate Shivakant Dwivedi said on Tuesday that on the basis of the report of the Chief Veterinary Officer, an alert has been issued for prevention and prevention of 'African Swine Fever'. The sale of pork and its products was completely banned in the district.
Apart from this, there will be no pig market anywhere in the district. He said that ASF is a contagious and extremely fatal disease spreading in pigs. For prevention and prevention, the movement of pigs in the disease-affected area has been completely banned.
It is noteworthy that the Indian Veterinary Research Institute, Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, had confirmed ASF in the samples of two dead pigs conducted on July 20 last. Since then, so far 20 pigs have been produced in Pigri Farm of Dandiya Bhandsar located in Faridpur.
