New Delhi, Aug 30 AAP leader Atishi on Wednesday said that the Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is not a prime ministerial candidate and her statement should be considered as the official statement of the party.

Reacting to AAP Chief Spokesperson Priyanka Kakkar remarks of Kejriwal being prime minister, Atishi said that these were her personal remarks and not the official party stand.

She said that Kejriwal was not at all a part of the PM race.

Atishi said that Kakkar's statement should not be considered as the official statement of the AAP party and that Arvind Kejriwal is not a prime ministerial candidate.

She said that the AAP party is a part of the INDIA alliance because they want to save the country as there is a need to save the constitution as well as the country.

Earlier, Priyanka Kakkar had said that she wanted to see Kejriwal as the next PM.

While speaking with IANS Kakkar had said that she wanted Arvind Kejriwal to be the leader of the alliance as he is continuously fighting for the betterment of the country.

“Speaking in my capacity as a party spokesperson, I would nominate Arvind Kejriwal for the post of prime minister. He has consistently championed peoples’ concerns and implemented a model that has led to minimal inflation in Delhi,” Kakkar said.
