Ajit Pawar’s younger son, Jay Pawar, got engaged to Rutuja Patil, daughter of industrialist Pravin Patil, in a private ceremony held on Thursday at Ajit Pawar’s farmhouse in Pune. The engagement was attended by close family members, including Sharad Pawar, Pratibha Pawar, Prataprao Pawar, Supriya Sule, and other members of the Pawar family.
The ceremony, held in a traditional style with grand arrangements and vibrant lighting, was kept exclusive, with only special invitees present. Both Jay and Rutuja were seen in elegant white outfits for the occasion.

Baramit MP Supriya Sule congratulated the couple and welcomed Rutuja to the Pawar family. Sharing pictures in her X post, Sule wrote, "So happy for our Jay, and a warm welcome to Rutuja! Congratulations to both of you!. Stay happy and blessed."
Who is Rutuja Patil?
Rutuja Patil hails from Phaltan in Satara district of Maharashtra and is the daughter of Pravin Patil, a well-known name in the business world. She is highly educated and comes from a respected family—her sister is married into the prominent Patil family of Kesari Travels.
Jay Pawar, who is inclined towards business, has been active in the corporate world with stints in Dubai and now looks after operations in Mumbai and Baramati. With a strong political legacy at home, Jay also participated in the recent Lok Sabha election campaign, supporting his mother Sunetra Pawar in Baramati and campaigning for Ajit Pawar in the 2024 Assembly elections. Jay and Rutuja have known each other for a few years and are now set to tie the knot soon.
