According to police, the couple to prove their love for each other mixed rat poison with cold drink and conumed it. After which both of them became critical and were admitted to the hospital.

The couple was married 5 years ago. They also have a one-year-old daughter. The deceased was identified as Manpreet Kaur and her husband Harjinder Singh.
