A video of a road rage incident, claimed to be from Mira-Bhayandar in Thane district near Mumbai, is making the rounds on social media. The clip shows two men confronting each other over a scratch on a vehicle, with the argument later turning into a Marathi language row.
Reacting to the viral video, netizens were divided in their opinions. While some demanded action against the individuals for allegedly refusing to speak Marathi, others said it was unfair to turn every dispute into a regional language issue.
In the viral 2-minute-13-second clip, two men can be seen engaged in a heated argument over a vehicle scratch. One man, speaking in Marathi, asks another man wearing a black shirt to speak in the regional language and communicate respectfully.

The confrontation escalated further when a third person intervened after the Marathi-speaking man allegedly insisted that the man in the black shirt should learn Marathi if he wanted to stay in Maharashtra. The third person objected, saying, “This is not right.” He also said, “I don’t know Marathi, what will you do?”
According to the video, the heated exchange took place near a CNG refuelling pump on Mira-Bhayandar Road, where the bike allegedly owned by the man in the black shirt reportedly scratched another vehicle owned by a Marathi-speaking man.
