Aurangabad, April 6:

In all, 1337 new coronavirus patients were found on Tuesday bringing the total number of patients in the district to 91,266. Over 1,429 corona patients,1200 from municipal corporation area and 229 from the rural area were given discharge in Aurangabad district. To date, 74305 corona patients have recovered and returned home. In all, 30 patients succumbed to the virus from which 23 died while undergoing treatment in the Government College and Hospital (GMCH), five in district civil hospital and two in private hospitals. In all, 15,117 patients are undergoing treatment, the district administration said. Over 784 patients were reported in the municipal limits while 553 patients were found in rural areas. The details of the areas where more than 10 patients were found in the municipal limits include Satara area 22, Beed Bypass 20, Padmapura 11, Cidco N-11 12, Kanchanwadi 12, N-8 13, N-2 16 and N-7 16. Meanwhile, in rural areas, there were the highest cases from Bajajnagar 12, Wadgaon Kolhati 4 and Pisadevi 4.

The district reported 30 deaths on Tuesday that include, a 39-year-old male from Harsul, a 65-year-old male from Kumbhefal, a 79-year-old female from Khultabad, an 83-year-old male from Shivajinagar, a 56-year-old female from Bhoiwada, a 76-year-old male from Gangapur, a 65-year-old female from Kannad, a 70-year-old male from Chhatrapatinagar, a 68-year-old male from Mitmita, a 52-year-old male from Chikalthana, a 60-year-old male from Cidco N-1, a 54-year-old male Wahegaon, a 68-year-old male from Baijipura, an 87-year-old male from Cidco N-3, a 70-year-old female from Phulambri, a 75-year-old female from Mukundwadi, a 70-year-old female from Begumpura, a 70-year-old male from Beed Bypass, a 70-year-old female from Vaijapur, a 57-year-old male from Vaijapur, a 75-year-old male from Gangapur, a 34-year-old male from Gangapur, a 40-year-old male from Waluj died while undergoing treatment at government medical college and hospital. While, a 70-year-old female from Amkheda, Soygaon, a 56-year-old female from Kannad, an 80-year-old male from Sillod, a 70-year-old female from Aloknagar and a 31-year-old male from Rajiv Gandhinagar died in district civil hospital and two patients including a 45-year-old female from Vaijaur and a 67-year-old female from New Rokda Hanuman Colony died in a private hospital.
