Aurangabad, Jan 17:

In all, 38 new Corona suspects were found positive on Sunday. The total number of patients in the district reached 46497 now, of which 44983 recovered, 1226 died while 288 are being treated, informed the district administration.

Patients found in the city are from, Ajanta Connaught Garden, Gajanan Mandir area, Sindhi Colony, Bhavani Chowk, Bajajnagar, N-7 Cidco, Garkheda area, Sainagar (One each). Bansilalnagar, Ghati area (Two each). Others – 16.

Patients found in the rural areas are from, Anjandoh – 1, Others – 9.

Two die; total deaths: 1226

A 65 years old man from Jategaon and a 78 years old man from Cidco died at the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH). The total deaths in the district reached 1226 now.

Meanwhile, 51 patients including 42 from the city and 9 from the rural areas recovered and were given discharge on Sunday. The total patients recovered in the district reached 44983 while 288 are being treated.
