Aurangabad, March 4:

The Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) health officials conducted 504 antigen and 1555 RT-PCR tests (total 2059 tests) at its COVID Care Centres (CCCs) and different places in the city and traced 90 Covid-19 patients (including six residents of areas out of the AMC limits) today.

The health teams conducted 90 antigen tests at the CCCs and detected 30 persons as infected. The AMC personnel also held 637 RT-PCR tests at the CCCs. Meanwhile, by visiting different parts of the city, the mobile teams have conducted 409 antigen tests and detected 58 Coronavirus infected persons. They also collected swab samples of 771 suspects for RT-PCR tests.

According to AMC data, the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) conducted 31 RT-PCR tests, and private laboratories performed 116 on Thursday. The private laboratories also conducted give antigen tests and found two infected patients. The AMC will be receiving the reports of all RT-PCR tests tomorrow.
