Aurangabad, March 22:

The defeat of MLA Haribhau Bagade in the Aurangabad District Central Co-operative Bank election is being astonished. The reasons for the defeat is being analyzed now.

Bagade, Nitin Patil, Satish Chavan, Ambadas Danve and Abhijeet Deshmukh were the candidates for the five non-agriculture seats. Jaggannath Kale was the candidate of the opposite panel. Jaggannath Kale and Kalyan Kale had planned strategy for the defeat of Bagade. Independent candidate Abhishek Jaiswal was elected. Bagade was defeated due to the BJP activist Jaiswal, it is said.

Speaking to his scribe, Bagade said, my position on the ballot paper was thirteenth which has also affected his candidature. Even though, I am leaving the ADCCB, I will be associated to the co-operative movement for ever, he said.

The political analysts said that the entry of former MP Chandrakant Khaire in the elections is also one of the factor for his defeat. Moreover, he had brought economic discipline at the Aurangabad Dudh Utpadak Sangh, which is also not liked by many people, they said.
