Aurangabad, March 23: Founder, director, Institute of Career Studies, Lucknow Dr Amrita Dass addressed the students of Wockhardt Global School, CBSE in a comprehensive webinar, recently. The career counselling session was meant for two groups of students. Grade 6-7 were given an insight into ‘Future Readiness’ and Grades 8-9 were given a more exhaustive talk on subject choices, courses, campuses and careers.

The session included study skills and how to develop them, good use of time and why writing is an important skill even in the digital age and myths around subject choices and how to prepare for the new emerging careers. Interesting questions such as, “I am interested in studying sciences but not to become a doctor. What are my options?”, “Which subject choices will lead me to civil services?” were raised. Students were also given a case study to see how they can pursue their dream careers, despite parental pressures.
