Aurangabad, June 26:

Maharashtra Rajya Shikshak Samiti threatened to launch an agitation if notice issued to 1575 graduate teachers in the district is not withdrawn. Shikshak Sena alleged that teachers are being taken to task without any reason.

The Education Department of Zilla Parishad gave a graduate pay scale to 2147 teachers. The Education Department issued a notice to 1575 teachers to file proforma to withdraw the given scale.

The teachers' unions said that the ZP administration gave the new pay scale on its own. The promotion was given for one teacher in each subject for standards sixth to eighth.

District president of Shikshak Samiti Vijay Salkar, Ranjit Rathod, Nitin Navle, Shyam Rajput threaten to demonstrate in front of the ZP office that the notice is not withdrawn.

Shikshak Sena office-bearers said that the administration issued a notice to nearly 1500 teachers stating that why their payscale amount should not be recovered from them. “The officers of ZP are misguiding the Chief Executive Officer and taking teachers to task,’ they said.
