Aurangabad, Jan 13: Chamber of Marathwada Industries and Agriculture’s Marathwada Accelerator for Growth and Incubation Council (MAGIC) will be hosting Atmanirbhar Bharat Innovation Challenge 2020-21, a unique initiative to promote the spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship amongst the students, faculties and early stage startups from the region.

Union minister for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Nitin Gadkari will inaugurate the Innovation Challenge 2020-21 and deliver keynote address via online application Webex on January 15 at 5.30 pm. He will interact with all the students, faculties, startups and SMEs.

MAGIC's Atmanirbhar Bharat Innovation Challenge 2020-21 received overwhelming response, with 200 applications, across 25 cities from 17 states all over the country including Delhi, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Pune. A total of 36 DIPP recognized startups, 43 patent holders, 68 startups having paying customers, 50 women entrepreneurs are amongst the applicants.

Last two editions of Innovation Challenges received more than 300 ideas across the country, 14 startups have been awarded with seed fund/prize money of Rs 6.5 lakh along with technical and mentorship support from MAGIC.

Innovation Challenge is a flagship initiative of MAGIC to promote innovative technology-based solutions for various problems.
