Aurangabad, Feb 27:

The Chamber of Marathwada Industries and Agriculture (CMIA) has appealed to all industrial associations and its members to take all precautionary norms and adhere strictly to the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) to contain the spread of Covid-19.

A meeting of all industries associations was convened by divisional commissioner Sunil Kendrekar on Friday to contain the spread of covid. Kendrekar asked to ensure all SOPs like using masks, maintaining physical distancing, periodic hand washing and thermal checking are followed by all in industries, employees and their family members. If the numbers keep on rising, then there will not be no option left before the district administration and lockdown might be in place.

Appealing to all industries, CMIA president Kamleish Dhoot said, as you are aware, that in the last phase industries have suffered a lot because of lockdown and still we are passing through the challenging situation for running our industries. Hence all stakeholders of industries must take enough care, precautions and follow SOPs with self-discipline. This is to be taken seriously and implemented without any further delay. VP Shivprasad Jaju, secretary Satish Lonikar, CII chairman Raman Ajgaonkar, MASSIA president, Abhay Hanchnal, MECC president Pritish Chatterjee along with the representatives of all associations were present.
