Aurangabad, March 2: Lions Club of Aurangabad, Chikalthana successfully organised a free cataract surgery camp in memory of Ln M K Aggarwal which started on his birth Anniversary on February 23. On the final day, 26 patients were screened out of which 21 underwent successful cataract surgeries. Overall, 126 patients were screened out of which 100 underwent cataract surgeries in the five-day camp. Patients from Vaijapur, Gangapur, Kannad, Sillod, Partur and nearby rural areas came for check-up and surgeries.

All the above surgeries were supported by late Ln M K Aggarwal’s son Ritesh. All the doctors, staff of Lions Eye Hospital, N-1 Chikalthana and Lion members contributed in various ways in the successful completion of the camp, said Lions Club Chikalthana president Ln Sanjeev Gupta, secretary Ln Vinod Chaudhary and treasurer Ln Rajesh Shukla.
