Aurangabad, Feb 2:

No Admission Without Mask - this punch line on the buses of Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) catches the attention of one and all. It seems the warning is just for namesake as passengers and few drivers and conductors of MSRTC was spotted without face masks during a visit to the Central Bus Stand on Tuesday.

The situation depicts that the passengers, as well as MSRTC personnel, had forgotten the danger of Coronavirus infection, while on bus stand campus. The scribe spotted few drivers on steering without masks, few conductors issuing tickets without masks, while a large number of passengers were without masks waiting for their buses at different platforms. No passengers were stopped from boarding the bus without masks. Notably, many of them (passengers and staff) had put on the mask, but was positioned on the chin, on the mouth, around the neck etc.

When contacted a driver without a mask, he told us that he forgot to bring it today. He immediately took out a handkerchief from his pocket and used it as a face mask. He also underlined the cover is necessary and should put it on for self-protection as well as other's safety. When another driver without a mask was questioned, he said who are you to ask us. You are not the authority and refrained from taking a photograph. If you want to travel, board the bus.

When contacted one passenger without a mask, he immediately took out his mask, put it on his face. He also assured of not repeating the mistake in future.
