Aurangabad, March 2: A science exhibition was organised as part of the National Science Day celebration at Chaitanya Valley International School, Karmad, recently. Students showcased static and working models and also used charts and posters for learning various scientific concepts for children of the age group 13-18 years.

Vice principal Pradnya Rao, coordinator Poonam Rani, teachers Sarika Lohe and Gajanan Rasve and Anil Jadhav guided the students. Management and principal Dr Sheetal D appreciated the students. The students were asked the scientific concepts forming the foundation of the models. Students had prepared models like organic farming, water rocket, door security alarm, robotic arm, working of a wind mill, magnetic crane and ATM. Charts based on respiratory system and biodiversity were presented. The sewage water treatment model was a very unique one. Students were encouraged to develop scientific fervor and mindset for research to foster analytical and critical thinking.
