Aurangabad, April 1:

The district administration has positively considered the demand of traders and canceled the lockdown. Hence the Jilha Vyapari Mahasangh has directed all traders to strictly abide by the rules to prevent corona infection and not to give goods and entry to customers who do not wear masks.

An online meeting of the 72 trade associations affiliated to the Mahasangh was held on Thursday. The meeting discussed 'Lockdown, Precautions and Remedies'. Mahasangh president Jagannath Kale said that the district collector canceled the lockdown in the district considering the opposition of industrialists and traders. It is now the responsibility of citizens as well as traders to ensure that corona infections do not spread through the market. Masks should be mandatory for shop owners and every employee. Also, service should be provided to the customers only by following the social distancing. Goods should not be given to the unmasked customers. Customers should be checked through a thermal gun.

In order to avoid crowd at Gulmandi, Shahganj, Gajanan Mandir Chowk, Connaught Place and TV Center, it was decided that the Mahasangh members should go and inform the traders and help the administration to reduce the crowd. Mahasangh secretary Laxminarayan Rathi, Ajay Shah, Vijay Jaiswal, Sardar Hari Singh, Jayant Devlankar, Ghulam Haqqani, Vinod Loya of the textile association, Dilip Chotlani and other office bearers were present.

30,000 traders to get vaccinated

Around 30,000 small and large traders, workers and their family members will get vaccinated. It was informed that the planning is being done with the officials of the health department for vaccination.
