Aurangabad, March 15:

The examinations of the second and third year of the different undergraduate courses, including B A, B Sc, and B Com, will begin within the jurisdiction of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University (Bamu) from March 16.

Vice-chancellor Dr Pramod Yeole held a review meeting. He directed the administration to take all the measures of COVID during the examination for the safety of students.

The UG aspirants were given an offline and online mode choice. Those who opted for offline mode were allotted an examination centre at their college, while candidates with online options will take their examination through mobile or laptop.

A total of 1.27 lakh students will take the examinations at 212 centres in Aurangabad, Jalna, Beed and Osmanabad districts.

The administration decided to set up a controlling squad at tehsil level. There is 36 tehsil within the jurisdiction of Bamu. Each squad that will comprise three teachers will ensure that COVID measures are being implemented, the Information Technology coordinator appointment, and installation of Close Circuit TV (CCTV) cameras.

Also, a coordination committee was set up. It will comprise ten officers and employees.

Name of some of the members is Rameshwar Wankallu, Sandeep Darsbastwar, Parakash Malkar, Jija Deshmukh, Sahebrao Muley, Istiaque Khan, Rajendra Gangurde.
