Three men allegedly assaulted a youth with a wooden stick and threatened to kill him over an old dispute. The incident occurred around 9.30 pm on Wednesday at Jijau Chowk, TV Center.

The accused have been identified as Vishnu Meghawale, Charan Meghawale (both residents of Swami Vivekananda Nagar, N-12) and Prithviraj Rajput (resident of Mayur Park). According to the complaint filed by Akshay Wankhede (Pawannagar, N-9), he had gone to Jijau Chowk with his friends to watch the Shiv Jayanti procession when the three accused confronted them. The dispute escalated, leading to verbal abuse and a physical altercation. Charan Meghawale and Prithviraj Rajput allegedly assaulted Wankhede with a wooden stick, causing severe injuries. A case has been registered at Cidco police station.
