A part of 3rd to 7th floor of a multi-storeyed building collapsed today morning at ST Building Chowk near Ratnadeep Bar in Dongri area of Mumbai on Wednesday morning.

The incident took place in Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Road at around 7.30 am when back portion of 3rd to 7th floor of a multi-storeyed building collapsed, the official said .

After receiving information, police and firefighters rushed to the spot. 6 people safely rescued by Mumbai Fire Brigade, no casualties reported so far

A woman was feared trapped under a staircase of the building and efforts were on to rescue her, the official said.
