Amid a spike in COVID-19 cases in the state, Nandurbar district has imposed a lockdown  from April 1 to curb the growing covid case. District Collector Dr. Rajendra Bharud has issued these orders due to the increasing number of covid cases.

In order to bring the covid cases under control, a complete lockdown has been imposed in Nandurbar district from midnight on March 31 to midnight on April 15, 2021 by the District Collector and Chairman of the District Disaster Management Authority, Dr. Rajendra Bharud.

Only essential services such as vegetable and fruit shops and milk booths will stay open, according to the order issued by the district administration. Citizens have been given five days to do the necessary work. People have been to not crowd public places. 

All shops in Solapur city and district will be closed today and tomorrow except essential services in Solapur; Due to the rising corona, the administration has decided.

In the last 24 hours, 36,902 cases of covid cases were registered in the state, while 17,019 people were released after treatment. A total of 112 deaths were reported. So far 26,37,735 corona affected people have been registered in the state. Out of which 23 lakh 56 patients have overcome corona. So far, 53,907 people have died due to corona in the state. At present 2 lakh 82 thousand 451 patients are undergoing treatment in the state. The cure rate in the state is 87.2 per cent.
