Dnyaneshwar Katke (Mauli Aaba) Joins Ajit Pawar NCP After Quitting Shiv Sena UBT Ahead of Maharashtra Assembly Election

Ahead of the Maharashtra Assembly election, which is scheduled to take place on November 20, political shifting and trading are on the rise in the state. In a recent shift, a Shiv Sena Uddhav Balasaheb Thackrey leader, Dnyaneshwar Katke, also famously known as Mauli Aaba, joined Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar-led NCP on Monday, October 21, in the presence of party chief Ajit Pawar and other senior leaders.

This has dealt a big blow to Shiv Sena UBT in Shirur Haveli. It is also predicted that after Katke's entry, the seat of Shirur-Haveli will be vacated by NCP. It is almost clear that Katke will be the Mahayuti candidate from the constituency. 

Meanwhile, there is a tug of war-among the political leaders of all parties to get tickets from the party. Now, the question here raised is if Mauli Katke has now joined NCP Ajit Pawar, who will get a ticket from the MVA alliance from the constituency? 

Vinayak Gaikwad, Sarpanch of Kolwadi in East Haveli, Nana Gulab Gaikwad, Suraj Chaudhary, former Sarpanch of Peth, Ganesh Chaudhary, former Sarpanch of Naigaon, Santosh Hagwane, Sujit Choudhary, Sunil Hagwane, Prateek Choudhary, Ravindra Shelar, Shivaji Choudhary, Ganesh Satav of Wagheshwar Udyog Group also joined NCP along with Mauli Aba Katke.

Among the aspirants from Shirur-Haveli Assembly Constituency, Dnyaneshwar alias Mauli Katke has taken a significant lead in the campaign and his formula of Pilgrimage Darshan is likely to be a "game changer" in this election. Therefore, a discussion has started in the constituency that there will be an unexpected result this year.

Maharashtra will vote in a single phase on November 20, with the results to be declared on November 23. In the 2019 assembly elections, the BJP won 105 seats, while Shiv Sena secured 56, and Congress won 44 seats. In 2014, the BJP won 122 seats, Shiv Sena secured 63, and Congress won 42 seats.
