On the occasion of International Nurses Day, Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray took to social media on Tuesday to thank nurses who are working tirelessly during the coronavirus pandemic.

The state CM thanked nurses and lauded their sacrifice, dedication and service to treat patients. He said many patients are returning to their families because of your (nurses) dedication and service. 

#InternationalNursesDay was trending on Twitter since Tuesday morning as netizens poured love and appreciations for the nurses working during the pandemic.
