Mumbai police have arrested a youth for allegedly threatening Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut.
Palash Ghosh is the name of the arrested person. He was arrested by a Mumbai police team from Kolkata on Friday. The court proceedings to bring him to Mumbai are now underway. Palash Ghosh, in his late 20s is a resident of Toligunge area in South Kolkata, is said to have been arrested by the Mumbai ATS. He is accused of threatening Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut through a video call.
Ghosh had allegedly threatened the Shiv Sena MP with "dire consequences" following which the Mumbai Police contacted the city cops and arrested the man.
Palash will be produced in court today and will be brought to Mumbai on transit remand.
