Gautam Adani was having dinner with Dubai Port CEO Mohammad Sharaf at Weather Craft Restaurant. At the same time, firing started in the hotel. Showing some courage, the hotel staff took the trapped people one by one to the basement. Gautam Adani was also there.

Adani spent the entire night of November 26 in the hotel chamber. The next day, Thursday around 8.45 am, the security forces pulled them out. On November 27, he left for Ahmedabad in his private plane. I have seen death at a distance of 15 feet.

Adani was among the top-3 richest people in the world and is still in the top-20. The shares of all his companies are falling steadily. In such a situation, Adani Group's position may improve if it gets a clean chit in the inquiry committees set up by the central government.
