Actress, model and TV anchor Shonali Nagrani has separated from husband Shiraz Bhattacharya. Shiraz is a photographer and cinematographer.
Shonali has revealed in an interview that she separated from her husband four years ago. She shares the grief of what happened to Shonali after her separation from her husband.
Shonali Nagrani, who appeared in 'Bigg Boss Season 5', got married to Shiraz in 2013. Their relationship ended within 6 years and they separated in 2019.
In an interview, Shonali has expressed the pain of being separated from her husband. Along with this, it is also said that it was not easy for her to separate from her husband.
Shonali said, 'My husband and I separated in February 2019 and the divorce proceedings are still going on.'
'There was a time when I was emotionally devastated and had no energy left to do my job. I started hating myself. I don't know when the smiling old Shonali disappeared.'
Shonali added, “Then I realized I had a choice. Living as a victim or focusing on picking up the scattered things.''
"I started to take myself out of it and see the negatives as positives."
Shonali says she is single since 4 years. She misses a partner in her life, but only for a moment.
Shonali is currently shooting for the second season of the web series Sunflower.
