Shilpa Shetty is one of the fittest stars of B-town and when a certain brand reached out to Shilpa with a whopping offer to endorse slimming pills, she instantly turned it down.
Rs 10 crore was the deal offered to Shilpa for promoting slimming pills, back in 2019. Yet, the fitness enthusiast rejected it as it conflicted with her beliefs and idea of fitness
Shilpa had even issued a statement regarding the same after the news of she rejecting Rs 10 crore offer spread like wildfire on the internet.
Shilpa, who believes in "practicing what you preach", revealed that slimming pills might be tempting for "instant results" but nothing can beat a disciplined routine of workout.
"I can't sell something that I don't believe in", Shilpa was quoted saying by Mid-Day as she elaborated saying, "Slimming pills and fad diets can be tempting since they promise instant results, but nothing beats the sense of pride of being committed to your routine and eating right. A lifestyle modification works so much better in the long term."
