Central government working on more than 200 projects to complete before 2024 Nitin Gadkari

The network of highways is being spread in the country at a tremendous pace. Union Roads and Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari today inspected the work of Delhi-Mumbai Expressway. It also gives information about how many big projects will be completed in the near future.

Given the way highways are being built in the country, the distance of a few hours will be reduced to a few minutes. The central government is trying to build more than 200 projects in the country before the 2024 Lok Sabha elections and make them available to the people.

The Rs 47,000 crore Delhi Katra Expressway will be 572 km long. At present, the distance from Delhi to Katra is 747 km. This project will also be completed before the 2024 elections. Delhi-Amritsar can be reached in just 4 hours while Delhi Haridwar can be reached in just 2 hours.

It is possible to reach Delhi-Katra in six hours and Delhi-Meerut in just 40 minutes. Under the state of the art, construction of road and flyover is underway in Jamshedpur, Chennai, Nagpur. 1200 crore project from Delhi to Jaipur Kishangarh has been approved.

The longest 1380 km highway is being constructed in Delhi and Mumbai. The ground breaking ceremony of this highway was held on March 8, 2019. But the project will be completed in March 2023. Work on this highway is currently in progress. The state through which this highway will pass is green.

Work on the Dwarka Express near the airport in Delhi NCR, 70 km on the Delhi to Panipat NH 44 is nearing completion. The 38 km lane from Gohana to Sonipat with an investment of Rs 1,300 crore will be completed by 2022. 1200 crore investment in Sonipat N33, 34 in UP Haryana.

A road is being constructed here with an investment of 45 km. Work on the new Ring Road UR2 in Delhi will start next year with an investment of Rs 8,000 crore. It is a 76 km stretch of road. This is part of the new master plan.

15 projects worth Rs 53,000 crore are underway in Delhi NCR. In which work of 14 projects has started. 5.5 lakh vehicles come from Haryana and Punjab. Of which 70% vehicles are commercial. One lakh vehicles come from the Eastern Peripheral.

Delhi pollution has been reduced by 47%. A new road has been constructed between Delhi Rangpuri and Mahipalpur to solve the traffic problem. Nitin Gadkari has come up with the idea of ​​building 2-3 smart cities on the Delhi-Mumbai highway.
