WhatsApp users have been given direct Digilocker access by the central government. This feature allows the user to download a PAN card, vehicle license, and other documents directly on WhatsApp without opening a Digilocker account.
No need to go to Digilocker's app or website for this. Users can get help from My Government Helpdesk.
Save this number My Government Helpdesk and WhatsApp have jointly introduced the Digilocker feature for users.
To start the Digilocker service on WhatsApp, first of all, you have to save the number 91-9013151515 on the phone.
How to get documents? After saving the number, you have to send a WhatsApp message to this number by typing 'Digi locker', 'hi', or 'hello'.
Users can also create new accounts on it. If you already have a Digilocker account, you can use it by entering the Aadhaar number.
Documents can be downloaded after the account is verified by OTP on the registered Aadhaar number.
