Warm weather that lasted until January 2 will be replaced by slightly cooler temperatures starting today, January 3, and continuing for the next week, according to retired senior meteorologist Manikrao Khule. The minimum temperature is expected to gradually decrease, bringing moderate cold conditions across the state. From January 10 to 16, cold weather is anticipated in most districts of Maharashtra, with morning minimum temperatures dropping below average in 27 districts. North Vidarbha is expected to feel the coldest temperatures. In contrast, the districts of Khandesh, Nashik, Nagar, Pune, Satara, Ratnagiri, Ch. Whether cold or rainy conditions will occur after this period will depend on the strength of the Madden-Julian Oscillation (MJO).
