Kim Soo Hyun, South Korean actor known for his role in popular Web series 'Queen of Tears,' is currently making headlines due to his personal life after late actress Kim Sae Ron, his ex-girlfriend's family made serious allegation on him. They allegedly claimed that Kim Soo Hyun dated late actress when she was minor and pressurized her to repay his debt when she was in bad financial condition which led her to take her own life. They also provided photographic proof for support. After weeks of controversy Kim Soo Hyun came forward and address the allegations made by Sae Ron's family. According to a Soompi report, Soo Hyun admitted to dating Sae Ron but denied claims made by her family saying it false. Actor Soo Hyun broke down during the press conference. During the conference Kim Soo Hyun said sorry to his fans and his late ex-girlfriend saying, 'I’m sorry. It seems that too many people are suffering because of me alone. And I feel heartbroken because even the deceased may not be able to rest in peace,' the actor said.He further added that he think himself as a coward and was too much focused on protecting what he had, that couldn't even trust the kindness I received and was always afraid of losing something or getting hurt. He said," I was busy running away and denying things out of fear. That’s why it took me a long time to stand here today. I kept thinking, ‘What if I had just talked about everything from the beginning?’ If I had, maybe the fans who love me and the company staff who worked so hard to make this press conference happen wouldn’t have had to suffer so much'. He said dated for about a year, five years ago, four years before Queen of Tears aired. 'But at the time, I denied our relationship. I think it’s only natural for people to criticize my choices. So, to be honest, I was afraid every single day. I kept thinking, what if all the choices I made to protect Kim Soo Hyun, the star ended up backfiring on me? I was scared of everything.'Regarding the allegations, I want to be clear: I never dated the deceased while she was a minor, nor was her tragic decision a result of my rejection or agency pressure regarding her debts. However, her family now accuses me, as her former boyfriend, of driving her to suicide. They demand a confession to manipulating her since she was a minor, pressuring her financially, and ultimately causing her death – accusations I vehemently deny. I am prepared to accept responsibility for any genuine wrongdoing on my part. But I cannot confess to something I did not do. I understand if my actions are perceived as cowardly or selfish, and I accept that criticism. To those who have supported me, I offer my sincerest apologies. They plan to file both criminal complaints and civil lawsuits. The goal is to "clarify the facts" and address "defamation" under the law regarding information and communications networks.
