Aurangabad, June 4:

" BJP's MP Bhagwat Karad could elevate in his political career from corporator to mayor because of me. Hence, he should first analyse the situation prior to it and then point out his finger towards me. It is necessary to have a word with officers in connection with people's work," said the Shiv Sena leader and former MP Chandrakant Khaire today. He commented in response to the statement made by Karad, made on June 2, at a function in the city. Karad had made

a statement that he is an MP and does not interfere in the affairs of municipal corporations like Khaire.

Today, both the leaders happen to meet for a ritual at Raja Bazaar's Sansthan Ganapati. Both of them gave their responses to the Sena-BJP alliance in the future.

Khaire said, " I questioned him (Karad) over his statement. He expressed his wish before me that there should be an alliance." On the other hand, Karad said, " I am not contesting the MP election, but he has the earnest desire to contest the election again. He himself met me today and told me that Sena and BJP alliance is taking place. This indicates who is in need of whom."
