Aurangabad, Jan 23:

The 'Parakram Diwas' (Bravery Day) was celebrated on the occasion of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose's birth anniversary with patriotism by the Mathrubhumi Sanstha on Saturday. A special function was held at the Martyrs Memorial at Kranti Chowk. CMIA and Aurangabad-First co-sponsored the event.

The program started at 7:30 am with blowing of conch on behalf of the Bengali Association of Aurangabad Mahila Mandal. The Roller Skating Federation of India, Aurangabad District Cycling Association, Aurangabad Fencing Association, Dynamic Martial Arts Training Center performed astounding moves leaving the audience in wow. The street plays on Netaji's life presented by Savitribai Phule Mahila Samaj Mandal were eye-catching. It was sweet to listen to the patriotic songs of Anagha Kale in the patriotic atmosphere. Dr Partho Roy anchored the programme. Jaswant Singh Rajput, Pritesh Chatterjee, Kamlesh Dhoot, Shivprasad Jaju, MLC Ambadas Danve, Sushmita Jana Roy, Neeta Rajput, Sandeep Kale, Sandeep Rajhans, Sharmishtha Dutta, Moha Chakraborty, and others were present.
