Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: The aspiring researchers can submit their objections about the provisional merit list of Ph D admissions up to April 5. The final list with reservations will be announced as per the state government rules.

If students have any complaints/suggestions regarding the said list, they can apply to the concerned faculty head in the form given on the website till April 5.

After this, the final list of selected students with subject-wise reservations will be announced on April 16. Admissions will be given to students in 44 subjects in four faculties which include the faculty of Science and Technology, Humanities, Interdisciplinary Studies and Commerce.

A total of 497 research guides have 1,576 vacant seats for 44 subjects. This entire pre-admission process is being implemented online.

10 days for objections

“If there are any objections regarding this list, applications should be submitted to the office of the concerned dean in the format given on the website by April 5,” said Dr Vijay More, Deputy Registrar, Examinations Department.

List of 2,164 candidates

The provisional merit list was declared for subjects in four faculties. These include 268 students for three subjects in the Faculty of Science and Technology (18 subjects, 683 students), Humanities (13 subjects, 973 students), Interdisciplinary (six subjects, 240 students) and Commerce and Management (three subjects, 268 aspirants.

Imp instructions for aspirants

--This is a provisional general merit list based on PET/exemption and oral presentation scores of the candidates.

--Reservation is applicable as per Government and University rules and regulations.

--The reserved category candidates belonging to States other than Maharashtra will be treated as general category candidates.
